And handed this one to a woman in a drive-through; she said "thank you," looked at the card, looked at me, seemed slightly puzzled . . . I drove away smiling.

That sounds like fun! I'm a shy person, so I haven't handed a piece of my art to anyone yet. The closest I've come to that is to leave my art along with the bill at a restaurant.
